SIEmergency ECD® (Emergency Call Device) is an emergency call and public address system which is versatile usable and can be connected to IP networks, especially in road tunnels and passenger railway stations.
The SIEmergency ECD® is designed specifically for use in emergency call systems and meets all the relevant requirements: Excellent voice quality that adjusts automatically to ambient noise even – and particularly so – in difficult situations or in adverse environmental conditions, which are likely to occur unexpectedly in crisis scenarios. Permanent self-testing ensures fail-safe operation.
Where necessary, peripheral devices such as remote public address systems, train destination displays or door contacts can be connected via additional interfaces.
To meet your specific requirements SIEmergency ECD® can be configured flexibly and individually.

Long range VoIP
In addition to two Ethernet ports, SIEmergency ECD® also features integrated transmission technology based on telecommunication cables – the SIEmergency Serial-Voice-Network (SSVN). SSVN is a patented method for IP and VoiP transmission with a range of up to 6000m. It is possible to enhance the network without losses by redundantly laid cabling either in lines (e.g. along roads or rails) or in rings.
